Lazy day in the movie room

Today was a lazy day because we were all tired from last night’s activities. In the morning we watched a movie. After that N. and I took the bikes and went to find the beach. Of course we didn’t find it and made a lot of detours – it is so confusing, the sun is supposed to be in the south at noon! At least it meant that we saw lots of Christchurch. Kiwi Basecamp, Christchurch – my first home in New Zealand

It’s a wonderful day. The sun is shining. We are sitting in the courtyard and enjoying the day. The breakfast is free and they are making fresh bread. It tastes wonderful. I had four slices. My last meal was yesterday at 3:00pm, so I was really hungry. After that I took one of the free to rent bikes and went into the city. I had a short look at two Backpacker car markets. Somewhere in the air on my way to Christchurch

As it was my checkout day I had to get up early. I packed my luggage and fortunately everything fitted in. I left my luggage in M.’s room. At Harry’s Cafe de Wheels I had a real breakfast – a bread roll with ham, egg and mustard sauce. The roll was much too soft but it tasted wonderful. Afterwards we met the guys in the city.
