Frankfurt Airport – two twelve hour legs away from destination one!
The flight from Berlin arrived on schedule. Claiming the luggage took some time, so I was one of the last passengers to check in. The friendly woman at the check in desk told me I needed a visa for Australia, which I had to buy at a different counter. I did as I was told and paid 45,00€ to get a visa which will permit entry to Australia for three months within a year. After finishing the formalities I went to the security check.
