Christchurch with friends

Yesterday I had two big pancakes with maple syrup and butter in the morning. My Couchsurfing host and his girlfriend made them for me – delicious!
In the evening I had an invitation to a barbecue. My Couchsurfer took me to his friend’s house and I had heaps of food – steaks, sausages, salad and after that a chocolate cake, apricot crumble with ice cream and cream on top. I ate more than in a whole week and I was so full! No more food this weekend, I promise.
In the evening I went to the city and met E., N. and another german girl in a restaurant called „The flying burrito brothers“. As we sat outside and waited for our table a streetcar driver stopped and called to a bunch of ladies at a hens party „Youll never get off the ground with those wings!“ – one of them was wearing little fairy wings as a costume. Funny people here.
After that we went to an Irish pub. They had karaoke and we listened to better or worse singers who were more or less drunk.
I was home at 04:30 and fell to bed.
Today I slept in and had a lazy sunday with a short trip to the beach and a wonderful evening in a spa pool.
