Tonight it’s cold outside but with a blanket over my knees it’ll do. I bought that car, got my bank account and applied for my IRD number. With that all the getting settled things are done.
Because I stay one day longer in the hostel, I had to change rooms. I put all my clothes and the not valuable things in the car.
I bought a pillow and a blanket for sleeping in the car and a big plastic box to lay my things in. That makes travelling much easier, because I only have to take the bare minimum into the hostels.
My first trip with the new car was to the beach in New Brighton. E. and N. went with me. We enjoyed the sun and had lots of fun jumping into the big waves of the Pacific Ocean.
After that we had lunch and a big dish of ice-cream. I have learned so much English in the last few days – special thanks to E., he is a very good English teacher. Chris, you have a close rival.
Tomorrow I will move to my couchsurfing place. It’s my first experience being hosted by someone I don’t know. I’m curious how it will be.
