After hurrying up the West Coast with almost no stop, yesterday we arrived at E.’s family in Nelson. First thing I did was have a shower, how wonderful after a long drive and a night sleeping in Harry.
Today we went to a farmers and art market in the city. E. got a haircut and I went shopping. After that we climed a very steep hill and I stood on (yes on, no preposition mistake) the central point of New Zealand.
In the afternoon I was at the beach, it was sunny and the water was really warm. The climate here is almost like Italy, wonderful – I love it.
After getting some supplies and my first membership card to a supermarket, we had an invitation to dinner. E.’s auntie cooked chicken, potatoes, sweetcorn and broccoli – tasty. Full and satisfied we watched a movie and now I’m going to bed!
