The flight from Berlin arrived on schedule. Claiming the luggage took some time, so I was one of the last passengers to check in. The friendly woman at the check in desk told me I needed a visa for Australia, which I had to buy at a different counter. I did as I was told and paid 45,00€ to get a visa which will permit entry to Australia for three months within a year. After finishing the formalities I went to the security check. Fortunatly they didn’t weigh my hand luggage. You are allowed 7 kg, I’m sure I have much more.
Now I’m sitting in the plane, seat 47A. It’s a real big plane, maybe 90 rows with 10 seats each.
I started a friendship with someone from Melbourne at the airport. Everthing is fine. Now I’m exited!
